Schnitzel

Ingredients

• 1 - pound Ostrich Steaks
• 1 - Egg
• 1 - tablespoon Water
• Seasoned Bread Crumbs
• 1 - tablespoon Olive Oil
• 2 - cups Noodles
• Jar of Sweet and Sour Purple Cabbage
• 4 - slices Bavarian Rye Bread

Directions

Butterfly steaks in to 1/4 inch thick pieces. Pound meat to desired thickness. Make an egg wash using egg and water. Dip meat into the wash and coat with bread crumbs. Spray pan with non-stick cooking spray and add olive oil. Fry steaks 2 - 3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Serve with a slice of rye bread, cabbage, and noodles.

Serves 4.
